CM Magazine is the flagship quarterly publication of the Association of Condominium Managers of Ontario (ACMO) and for more than 30 years has served as the leading source of in-depth coverage of industry news, issues, information, education and best practices for condominium management professionals and service providers.
CM Magazine has a printed circulation of 7,000+ per issue and a digital circulation of approximately 400 views per issue. The audience consists of Condominium Managers, Condominium Management Companies, Industry Services & Trades Providers, and Condominium Boards.
Article submission is not open to the general public. ACMO members in good standing may contribute articles. From time to time we will reach out to the broader condominium industry and request articles from non-members and other industry experts (e.g. government partners, educational partners, legal experts), if the subject matter requires a distinctive perspective that cannot be addressed by an individual ACMO member or company.

A warm hello to our members and extended readers! It has been a long and treacherous winter so far and Managers and Associates have been working diligently dealing with all the trials and tribulations that the winter has sprung upon us! Kudos to all of our members for surviving the turbulence at this challenging time.

As 2018 budgets were being drafted, we were once again put in the position of predicting the future. Will it be a very cold or mild, snowy or dry, a short or long winter season? With all our education and continuing education seminars, we have yet to be able to predict the future.

In my last report, I commented on how fast winter went by and now I am thinking, “what happened to spring?” Here at ACMO, spring was so very busy we hardly noticed the rainy weather.

How many times have we heard people say, “I cannot believe where the summer has gone”? This summer was a perfect example. Short and wet and tough to get exterior repairs completed. But at ACMO, we never stop. In regular communiqués, tweets and newsletters, ACMO strives to keep its members aware of consultations concerning the new Condominium Management Services Act, 2015 (CMSA) and the Protecting Condominium Owners Act, 2015 (PCOA).

Spring has sprung. The grass has riz. I wonder where the birdie is.

As the incoming President of ACMO, I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the individuals who supported and voted for me in the last election at the ACMO Annual General Meeting. An honourable mention to Robert Weinberg (Past President) for his mentorship, guidance and support over the past two years.
